Jakarta girls; teaching & fun times
By Axel (from Prachuap)
In my experience, Jakarta girls are rather confident and they ooze sex appeal. My story started out in Jalan Jaksa, a centrally located backpacker street in Jakarta, it was my first trip to Indonesia and I quickly took a liking to the friendly people, the colourful culture and the exotic foods.
Many a western man has fallen for the charms of the ladies they meet in Indonesia, they are amongst the sweetest and sexiest that you will find anywhere.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't wait to get to know some Indonesian women. An Australian bloke told me that it was a breeze to land a job teaching English at one of the capital's many private English schools, he was doing it himself. I figured I could make it back to Indonesia in 3-4 months to try my luck with the teaching. Who wouldn't want to spend more time in Indonesia? In my free time, I was hoping to travel around Java.
Around mid-September I was back on Indonesian soil. After a shopping spree I definitely looked the part, wearing a freshly ironed white shirt, grey slacks and a black velcro tie. Every job interview I went on resulted in a teaching position, it was so easy to find work. Even more unbelievable, the schools I called up were not actively looking for teachers!
In a matter of 10 days I had secured three part-time jobs and I was getting into the swing of crisscrossing Jakarta by bus and taxi. All my employers paid me in US dollars and I couldn't have asked for more. At school, there were plenty of Jakarta girls and some of them were quite flirtatious. How about receiving boxes of pastries and all kinds of invitations. Having three part-time jobs made for plenty of variation. It was refreshing to go from school to school, it was anything but boring.
Jakarta at night...
The Indonesian colleagues were most generous and welcoming. Out of all the countries I have worked in, it is one of my top experiences.
Getting to know Jakarta Girls
After work I often hung out in the bars at Jalan Jaksa. My mates were a mix of English teachers and backpackers, a great bunch. One evening a student of mine came to Jalan Jaksa to chat with some foreigners. That was a popular way for Jakarta girls to practice their English, they usually hit the bars with a group of friends.
Dewi was in her early twenties. She had long, jet-black hair and a beautiful smile. Judging by the way she spoke and carried herself, she was from a well-to-do family. Yes, she was flirting with her eyes, looking at me from the corner of her eyes, and getting up close, face to face, to look in to my eyes. She was confident, which made her even sexier. I asked her what drink I could get her, like most Jakarta girls Dewi rolled her R's, she said, "Misterrr Alex, I like small Bintang." Her accent cracked me up, it was so cute. Bintang was my favorite beer, the name means star in Indonesian. I really enjoyed Dewi's company and we quickly hit it off.
After an hour or so, Dewi came up really close to my side and spoke into my left ear, I could feel her warm breath when she asked, "You want go with me to business club?" I was quite surprised at her move, and replied, "Sounds like fun!" Dewi grinned from ear to ear as we left the backpacker's joint. A few minutes later we were seated in the backseat of a taxi. She told the driver where we were going and then she looked me in the eyes while explaining that she wasn't that comfortable in Jalan Jaksa with all the language students around. She smiled and confessed, "I like be alone with you, too."
‘Bule’, as Caucasian men are referred to in Indonesia, get a lot of female attention. They are considered exotic and adventurous, and the girls love that on:

At the business club there were only Indonesians, all dressed like professionals, so I stuck out like a sore thumb… and I didn't feel that welcome either. We sat down on bar stools, at a dark corner of the club. Dewi ordered and paid for some bottles of beer. Since the music was loud, we had to sit really close together in order to hear each other.
Dewi asked me what I liked the most about Indonesia. I said that I loved the Indonesian people and that they were super friendly. She kept firing questions at me, "What food you try?" I told her that I enjoyed ordering from the food carts in the street, especially nasi goreng, which is fried rice with veggies and egg. "The Sambal chili sauce makes it really yummy," I added. Dewi nodded in agreement and smiled.
We were getting pretty intoxicated by the cool Bintangs. The drunker we got, the more we touched each other as we talked. Out of the blue, Dewi asked me, "Tonight, you make love to me?" That was the first time I saw her look a bit uncomfortable. I thought to myself, "Now we're talking." How do you respond to that, especially when it's coming from one of your students? I slurred, "Yeah, where do we go?"
Dewi had stopped smiling, instead she looked me straight in the eyes, with a firm look on her face. I could tell that she wanted it... She whispered in my ear, "I know special place." Then she took me by the hand and we made our way out of the club. We ended up at a so-called love hotel, a discreet place that Jakarta girls use for secrecy… Once the cab had entered the car port next to the room, someone pulled a huge curtain behind the vehicle. We slipped out of the car and entered the room, now we were totally alone. It was great to finally kiss her.
Tooth brushes and all kinds of toiletries were provided. I let Dewi shower first and she came out of the bathroom wearing only a white bath towel. She smiled and looked so hot. It was wonderful to take a shower and to wash off the tropical sweat.
I will never forget that night. We didn't get much sleep...
Memories of Jakarta girls
It wasn't the last time we checked in to that hotel. In the mornings, we would call the reception and a taxi would turn up behind the black curtain. Dewi would get off at her university, while I continued to the language school. On occasions, I had to go via my apartment to pick up some fresh clothes. There was so little time to spare, those mornings I hardly had anything to eat.
More often than not, I would spend my days off sleeping in. My Jakarta stint can be summed up in three words: work, alcohol and Jakarta girls.
Dewi was going to introduce me to her parents, but it fell through.
We didn't spend much time at my studio, rather, we frequented exclusive bars and the love hotel. We had a wonderful time together and it definitely fuelled my fancy for Indonesian women. When the Jakarta girls say, "Darrrling," you know it's the real thing!
